I have developed Rawan Nutrition because I’m passionate about helping people overcome illness. It’s the reason why I’ve spent my career working in medicine. Going through the Cancer journey is long, challenging, and exhausting. It is a privilege to contribute to that journey and ease the pain for those who are going through it. Being ambitious and determined to help people is what pushed me to study medicine and led to the creation of Rawan Nutrition.
I have over 15 years-experience working as a Junior and GP in variety of hospitals. Over the course of my career I have developed an understanding of how the human body works and the importance of nutrition.
I have personal experience of the impact that cancer has on both sufferers and their families. In my particular case, the death of my uncle after years suffering from leukemia stimulated my wish to make a contribution to human well-being. I reached the conclusion that, based on my academic and personal skills, the best contribution that I could personally make to saving lives would take the form of a career in scientific research that sought to unlock the mysteries of cancers and work towards creating new treatments for the different forms of the disease.
Throughout my time as a postgraduate researcher, I maintained my interest in cancer, finding that studying cancer as a part of my doctorate degree enabled me to have a clearer view on how best to help. Personally, I keep an open mind regarding the best ways to support cancer sufferers. Despite this, I have an unwavering motivation to pursue a career in the field of cancer research, based around the desire to make a meaningful contribution to helping people, that I have developed through the pain of the passing of my uncle.
The best routes to helping people have been through launching videos in different topics regarding coping with cancer and providing food supplements specific for cancer patients.
